They would make things much easier, but my brain has a hard time reading right to left for WS, and I am completely thrown off when a symbol means one thing on the RS and the opposite on the WS. It makes me have to look at the key for every single block that has a symbol and slows me down. But I have made my peace with small simple charts, and would love to see if this book can help train my brain. :)

IngridSera on RavelryIngridSeranoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1298152147095480091.post-80291513376276417962011-05-21T11:27:13.291-04:002011-05-21T11:27:13.291-04:00This comment has been removed by the author.pie-face1https://www.blogger.com/profile/09630479474139805419noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1298152147095480091.post-87947551736659349082011-05-21T09:05:18.118-04:002011-05-21T09:05:18.118-04:00I am somewhat intimidated by charts, but would lov...I am somewhat intimidated by charts, but would love to learn to use them.

Ann (TennisChick on Ravelry)Ann F.noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1298152147095480091.post-27009512690728118382011-05-20T23:32:01.186-04:002011-05-20T23:32:01.186-04:00This book looks really interesting. I'm a very visual person and can "see" the lace with the chart. Something I cannot do with written instructions. I really want to create my own. My only complaint is inconsistency in what symbol means what stitch. It seems that every chartmaker wants her own legend.
PatriciaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1298152147095480091.post-10551679338894269502011-05-19T21:40:42.745-04:002011-05-19T21:40:42.745-04:00I've never used a chart.
