Chubby Puppy!

Chubby Puppy was originally released in Fons and Porter's Fall edition of For the Love of Knitting.  The rights to the pattern have reverted back to me (already!) and so I can make him available to you as well.  So, for those of you who love puppies, especially stuffed puppies, here you go:

Chubby Puppy is really easy!  He's worked in the round and seamless.  It takes about 200 yards of a heavy fingering weight yarn to make him.  I used Schaefer Yarn's Nichole, a yummy plush superwash, which is perfect for this project!!!

you say it takes a heavy fingering, but Nichole is sock weight, did you double it up?

  2. Nichole is what I would call a heavy fingering (or sock weight) yarn, it works up at approx 7 sts/in on 2's.. sorry to confuse!
