Migrations in Cotton for Spring!

I designed Migrations last fall with some of the initial sample kilo Schaefer got of our newest yarn Nichole. It is one of the great joys of my job at Schaefer that I get to play with new yarns before everyone else... makes me feel all kinds of special, which is silly, because it's not like I am saving someone's life or changing the world once stitch at a time... it's just brand spanking new yarn, and it makes me happy!!!

Once I sat with the pattern a bit I realized it would also be lovely in
Schaefer's Susan and decided to have a new model knitter of ours, Valerie, whip one up for me. Luckily the stitch gauge works out exactly the same, I LOVE it when that happens!

I am planning a pictorial tutorial on this stitch, so stay tuned, it will be up soon...
