Biplex: A Yarn Giveaway!

TGIF All!
I'm off in Denver working on a secret little something something with my buddies at Craftsy, but that doesn't mean we don't get to have giveaway Friday!

Remember earlier this summer when I posted this photo on Instagram of a new design I was working on that matched my shoes?
Well, it's almost ready to release... want to see?
It's called Biplex Cowl und I lurve it!
I'll tell you more about it when it soon... but you should know I knit mine in Colinette Jitterbug. I almost used the two skeins below (Velvet Bilberry and Cherry) but I was trying to get away from always knitting with purple (and clearly I wanted the cowl to match my shoes)!
Biplex  uses short rows and has multiple repeats and stitch counts to keep track of.... How's that for tying one Friday's giveaway blog post to the next?

    Now, that would nicely match my purple coat. I am currently knitting (if you can call it that) a shawlette in nice green color (Green Tea from Dibadu in Twisted Fifties) that will look great with my eyes.

    What a FUN cowl! I always have several projects on the go. Currently I'm working on a pair of mitts from the Loop 10th anniversary book, a pair of socks from Portland souvenir yarn, and there's a sweater that's been in time out for a while that I really want to wear now that it's getting cooler.     On my needles are: 1) a sweater for my son-in-law, 2) socks for my niece, 3) a shawl for my daughter, and 4) my Circo cowl kal -- I haven't had time to start clue 4 yet. :-(

    I am knitting my own design of socks practicing my skills at new top edgings, heels and toes, a Hitchhiker shawl and a Curls shawl. I love Colinette jitterbug and have used it for a pair of socks and for a scarf. They have nice deep hues of colors.

      Hi, uh, pick me! Currently I'm working on Alan Dart's Flamenco Flamingo for a neighbor who loves flamingoes. A birthday gift that is now a belated birthday gift and will probably end as a Christmas gift. Would love to make this cowl to take my mind off the fact that... oh forget it, I just want free yarn.     Just got your Craftsy class on lace knitting so am knitting a swatch for Skywalker. Also Imagine When by Joji Locatelli, sock 1 of a pair, Architexture shawl, scarf with the yarn I bought in Ireland last summer, I could go on. Love having lots of projects!

    Just finished a stereo cuff in U of F colors for my niece...I'm calling it a Fan Band! Also finishing up Circo. I'm knitting with the October Dream yarn but didn't like the pattern provided so I found another but this scarf would have been perfect!!!

      Love this cowl. This is the best accessory for this time of year. I'd love to knit this. Circo is finished. Hot Flash is on the needles as is Loco, but what's one more...I do better with several on the go for some reason.

    At the moment I am on a fingerless mitt kick so I am knitting The Leave Me Mitts, using Metallico. The gauge is a bit off so I am knitting the large to get a medium. Pleased with the results.

    Hi Laura, I am having a great time making the beaded waves cuff. I made the first one from the kit I ordered and my granddaughter quickly claimed it. I am using the pattern now to make the cuff in Christmas colors (white sparkle yarn, red, green and silver-lined crystal beads) for my knitting group. I know they will love them. Thanks, Betty

    I am currently knitting on clue 4 of Circo. Started on Sunday and will be finished by Saturday which I think is pretty good as I knew I would not be able to start when the clues first came out. First time using pre-strung beads too as I went ahead and strung all the beads for both clue 3 and 4.

    Love this cowl! I have a shawl and 2 pairs of socks in active work but have several sweaters, a brioche scarf, a Nelkin reversible scarf (don't ask why) and 2 pairs of socks in time out. I will return to them soon. I have the "love the one you're with" problem...

    Wow, this is really pretty! I usually try to coordinate my cowl and the clothes I'm wearing--never thought about including the shoes!
    I'm currently knitting a Standing Stones shawl in Dragonfly Fibers Traveller in a lovely (no longer dyed) colorway called Phantasmagoria, while also trying to finish a crocheted whale shark for my grandson. But the weather is getting cooler, and it's cowl time!
