Accola Shawl with a SUPER giveaway!
Want to learn more about Accola the new shawl I designed for my Craftsy class Knitting with Beads and have a chance to enter a great giveaway? Read on!
The main teaching tool I use in the class is the Accola Shawl... as with many of my shawl patterns, it is written for both lace and fingering weight yarns, AND in two sizes.
Skills Used: Accola incorporates size 6/0 beads placed on stitches, nupps, and double sided beaded lace (size 8/0) balanced by a healthy portion of stockinette stitch to keep you sane.
Construction: Accola is worked from the bottom up, starting with the lace border which is worked vertically over a small number of stitches. After the border is competed, you pick up stitches all the way along it's edge and then start to work the body of the shawl. The top edge is finished off with a perpendicular bind off that includes more nupps and beads.
Note: Right now the only way to get this pattern is to sign up for my Craftsy class.
But, what about the yarn?
Lace Weight version: Jill Draper Makes Stuff Nimbus in Bottle.
This is my all.time new favorite color. I knit this large lace weight version in January when it was all kinds of brown, grey and brown outside, I spent a large portion of everyday looking at this stunning green, and I do believe it kept me sane! Nimbus is a lovely 70% Angora/30% silk that carries the weight of the beads, and the texture of the nupps beautifully!
Fingering Weight version: Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock in Midway.
Believe it or not this is my first time working with Shepherd Sock, and I LOVE how it behaved with beads, it's hearty but still so soft and the fiber stood up to the wear of the beads really well! Colleen got to knit this after I did the swatching and I was sad to not get to actually knit it, but a girl only has so many hands. I really wanted to show how this shawl would look with a variegated yarn and it did not disappoint! See?
Ready for that giveaway? Jill, who is a seriously wonderful woman, and an awesome dyer, has generously offered up 2 skeins of Nimbus in Bottle AND Craftsy has offer to giveaway a class with it You can make your very own Accola!
So, leave a comment letting us know if you've ever knit with beads and how it went for you by April 3 at 12 noon EST and I'll chose a random winner when comments close!

Yes, I have knit a few projects with beads and really enjoy it--I made a Citron shawl to which I added beads at the bind-off, and I made your Butin Collar which came out great too!
ReplyDeleteWould LOVE to win this amazing give-away!
Oh!! Lovely yarn. I am already signed up but would love to get my hands on the yarn - been computer window shopping today for yarn and beads - there are so many choices I can't make up my mind. Enjoying looking at all the beads. Thank you
ReplyDeleteI have never knit with beads before, but I would like to try. I have plans to practice first on a few of your jewelery pieces. That green is so gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI've done only a very little with beads- I knit a small snowflake Christmas tree ornament, but I'd love to be more proficient with the technique. This is a beautiful shawl.
ReplyDeleteWhat generous giveaway--the pattern and yarn is beautiful! No I have never knit with beads, but I think it looks so nice. I would have to watch some tutorials. I love the internet :-)
ReplyDeleteA couple of Christmases ago everyone I knew (at least it seemed that way) got a cute little beaded drawstring bag from me. I love knitting with beads and would really like my next project to be this wonderful shawl.
ReplyDeleteI have never knit with beads but I am ready to try it. Your patterns are beautiful. Thanks for such a great give away.
ReplyDeleteI've never knit with beads, but Ive been dying to try it.
ReplyDeleteI love knitting with beads. One of my first beaded projects was a necklace that nobody believes is knitted as all you see is the beads! It's fun to add the extra weight and texture to the knitting, but it is more time consuming and focused than knitting without the beads. :-)
ReplyDeleteI would love to havethe pattern you used for the necklace
DeleteYes I knit with beads -- I did the Seascape Shawl and the Waves of Grain Shawl (Knitty), the Carole Landis Top, and I added beads to Ysolda's Damson. I love beads!
ReplyDelete(Goodstuff on Rav)
I have only knit ~3 projects with beads, but would love to do some more, esp this beautiful shawl that was so amazing to see in person a few weeks ago. And of course I love Jill's dyeing and yarn bases! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI've knit one project with beads and I would love to knit more. It was the Midsummer Night's Dream shawl from the Shakespeare in Lace club.
ReplyDeleteI've knit with beads once, and it was kind of fun, but the end result was just something I wouldn't ever wear. This shawl is gorgeous though!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great giveaway. I haven't knit with beads but I would love to.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE working with beads, and this shawl looks stunning with them, but I don't have a lot of practice. This looks like the perfect project to learn and do more.
ReplyDeleteThe yarn is very lovely and I do really like your color choice. I am a fan of purples and reds too but the green IS really cheerful as you said. I'm thinking I'd use a similar spring/summer color myself as it is pretty grey here on Cape Cod, MA and will be for awhile longer I'm afraid. We never seem to get a proper spring!
I've got my fingers crossed to win this opportunity to do something I love with a pattern by you, Laura
Tammy Ross Mattson
My first time knitting with beads was the fingerless mitts in the 3fer pattern. That project got me back into knitting after a long hiatus and stagnation where I didn't develop my skills. Since then I've done numerous projects with beads and I am definitely going to knit Accola. I love it. I am nervous about the nupps because the only thing I know about them is they're difficult and scary. But I've come this far and learned so much I have faith that I can do it.
ReplyDeleteI've never knit with beads, but I would like to!
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful class and a generous giveaway. I need another chance to make a beaded shawl correctly. With the Craftsy filming, the stitches and techniques are easy to follow. Thanks, Laura
ReplyDeleteI knit your Butin Collar and (am still working on) your Entomology Shawl. It went/is going great!! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI have knitted many things with beads including both of your Mystery KALs! I love the feeling of the gentle weight beads add to a garment.
ReplyDeleteI'm working with beads now and am alternating between the crochet hook method and the dental floss method demonstrated by TheKnitGirllls. Not sure which one I like best, but the end result is the same!
ReplyDeleteI knitted Kinetik's KAL after the first lace Crafty class. I declare myself a new lace/beads addict!! I`m willing to knit this wonderful shawl. Thanks, Laura, al this lace and beads experience has been really fun and inspiring.
ReplyDeleteAna Cecilia Flores
I have my Kintetik on a brief hiatus and can't wait to get back to it and finish! I want to feel it's lovliness on my shoulders as I decide what beaded delight I will pursue next…h-m-m-m, maybe a Craftsy class with Laura…
ReplyDeleteI've never knit lace ... so I'm currently watching your Craftsy class for knitting lace! :-) I'm hoping at the end of it I will be brave enough to start knitting a lace necklace with some beading.
ReplyDeleteHave made smaller projects and really enjoyed making the Butin collar. Somehow, I never seem to have the beads and yarn that coordinate when I'm planning a shawl. The Accola shawl looks like a real treat.
ReplyDeleteI've knit a couple of projects with beads... coincidentally, they're all your patterns :) I love this shawl... so pretty!!
ReplyDeleteI've never knit with beads but would be willing to learn! Thanks for the opportunity!
ReplyDeleteI have knitted one project with beads using the crochet hook placement method--the Emily Dickinson Shawl. I am getting ready to knit charts 3 and 4 of the Ashton Shawlette, placing beads in the same way. I would love to acquire more expertise.
ReplyDeleteI have never used beads in knitting, but would love to learn!! Thanks for another beautiful design Laura!!
ReplyDeleteHave not knit with beads YET but it is on the skills to acquire list :)
ReplyDeleteI've knit a Hanami shawl with beads and a Kernal scarf with beads. Used a crochet hook each time and didn't really use a lot of beads. I'd love to learn to use beads in different ways and have been looking at your class description on Craftsy, serious considering signing up.
ReplyDeleteWould love to win this yarn and take the class.
I made eventide. I loved it! So tempted to take this class once I cross a few things off the old to do list.
ReplyDeleteI've never knit with beads but I would love to give it a try.
ReplyDeleteI've never knit with beads, but I have a ton of them at home! LOL
ReplyDeleteI've never knit with beads before. I love the projects you have done with them, and I think it would be fun.
ReplyDeleteI knit with beads for the first time in your class at TLE Spring Fling last year. I have loved it and hope to win this so I can do more.
ReplyDeleteWow, great giveaway! I saw this pattern on Facebook and fell in love with it on the spot. I've never knit with beads before, but I think it's an idea whose time has come :-)
ReplyDeleteI have never actually knit with beads, but the results are undeniably gorgeous and I really must try!!
ReplyDeleteI knit an iPad cover for my mom a while back and embellished it with beads around the edges. I found it to be relatively simple, but it wasn't really what I would consider "knitting with beads" because I was kind of winging it. This shawl is absolutely gorgeous and does not look simple at all. I would LOVE to win the class and yarn to make it. Thanks for the kind giveaway offer. Angifitz at gmail dot com.
ReplyDeleteBonjour,
ReplyDeleteSure I knitted with beads, because I completed the Kinetic Mystery KAL Shawl !
No problems with beads, except that I pre-strung 4220 beads at one time and had to move them all along the yarn. But the result is worth.
Thanks for this give away.
I made a pair of worsted weight socks with beads and they were fine but I would love to make something finer, like a shawl. Thanks for the chance to win something beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI knitted the Secret Garden shawl with beads - loved it!! Much easier than I thought, and gave it a lot of pizazz. Would love to make another beaded shawl!
ReplyDeleteMy first time knitting with beads was the Kinetik Mystery KAL. I loved it, and I'm still amazed by how beautiful my little shawelette looks. Accola is just as beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOMG! I really would like to knit this shawl. I would like to but it right now even though I never knitted with beads. I just love it! let me know when is going to be on sale.
ReplyDeleteYes, I have knitted with beads. I've knitted several of your patterns and love them! I would love to knit this pattern.
ReplyDeleteI signed up for your Craftsy class(es) as soon as they were available. I've never worked with beads but seeing your gorgeous patterns is making me want to try. The yarn is a beautiful color and also something I can work with!
ReplyDeleteNo, I've never knit with beads, but I have bought beads with good intention; and when it came right down to it, didn't have a clue of how to do it. The bead store in my area has gorgeous beads but she couldn't get them on my yarn. I just signed up to Crafty recently and am so happy I got today's email. Looking forward to your class. thanks
ReplyDeleteI have never knit with beads. I have it added to my list of knitting things I want to try just haven't gotten there yet!
ReplyDeleteI've never knit with beads but its on my to-learn list!
ReplyDeleteAfter taking your class at the Yarn Cupboard Retreat, I'm ready to take on a full size project with beads! I love Jill Draper yarns, she has great stuff so seeing how I don't have any Nimbus in my stash, I'm hopeful! Juliecazknits
ReplyDeleteI love the touch of sparkle & color that beads give a knit item. I have knit a pair of wristers. A Craftsy class would give me the the confidence to create a beaded shawl.
ReplyDeleteI have only knit once with beads but I really want to use them more in shawls
ReplyDeleteI used beads on a clutch purse knit with a lattice of twisted stitches and an owl cable motif. I look forward to using beads on a larger project, such as a shawl.
ReplyDeleteI recently signed up for your Craftsy Lace Shawls class and would love to take the Beads class as well. :)
I've knit a beaded table runner, but would love to learn more and improve. Just signed up for your class!
ReplyDeleteI haven't had much experience with beads, however, I cannot wait to dive in! :) This seems like a fantastic opportunity to gain some insight into the world of knitting with beads.
ReplyDeleteI loved your Lace Shawls course and I cannot wait to try out the Beads course at some point! The designs you come up with are simply amazing :)
I have worked with beads - but usually with a crochet hook application. I am struggling through Kinetic - but this looks amazing! Really gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI knit with beads and love the elegance it adds to shawls and scarves. The big issue I have with knitting with beads is sometimes the yarn splits and snags and spoils the stitch.
ReplyDeleteI haven't knit with beads though I have been drooling over patterns for the past two weeks. I have taken Mastering Lace Knit class and know your new Craftsy class will make bead knitting happen for me. est of luck with your new project.
ReplyDeletenever knit with beads. have hand-sewn beads on fabric, and i do string beads sometimes. ;-) it's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI have worked with beads a little. I made made your eyeglass i-cord with beads and also incorporated a few beads into a shawl with a crochet hook. I would love to make the Accola shawl and try a more sophisticated approach to incorporate beads into a knitted garment. Love your designs!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great giveaway. I have never knit with beads, but have a big box of beads, ready for a project
ReplyDeleteI have never knit with beads, but there is always a first time
ReplyDeleteKnitting with beads has been on my list for some time. I would love to win this.
ReplyDeleteForgot to sign my email. LOL
DeleteMaria
I have knitted with beads using two of your patterns, Eventide and Kinetic. Both made gorgeous articles (scarf and shawl) and I learned soooo much with each. This pattern is stunning and I love the colors.
ReplyDeleteLorrieH
i am new to knitting (just learned in december) but i am wanting to learn everything i can. i haven't knitted with beads yet but it is on my to-do list. i have been crocheting for a long time and have yet to crochet with beads as well. mostly i haven't cause i live in an area with no lys to by the yarn necessary for bead work. i plan on signing up for the bead class. i just signed up for your lace class and am anxious to get started on that! it would be amazing to win this!
ReplyDeleteI took your lace shawls course on Craftsy and had a great time knitting Skywalker and Clarus. I have never knit with beads, but would really like to learn, and I just love the Accola pattern! It would be great to knit it this spring if I win!!
ReplyDeletelovely design! ive never knit with beads but i would love to give it a go :) raineoc@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteMy first attempt with beads was - no surprise here - your Eventide class at the Yarn Cupboard Retreat a few weeks ago. I also have some "knitting and beads in waiting" - 2 shawls to be exact - that, now that I know how to bring beads and yarn together, I am ready to complete. Love Jill Draper's "stuff"; ditto to Lorna's Laces, which I have used for several projects. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI began knitting with beads several years ago in a KAL where I was introduced to the dental floss and crochet hook methods of adding beads. The idea of stringing them all on my yarn before casting on, scared me off. So previously I had been missing out on the extra beauty and fun beads can add. :)
ReplyDeleteI have to admit, I'm not a fan of knitting with beads. Too fiddly for my tastes. But I do like the end product, so...
ReplyDeleteHello, Laura,
ReplyDeleteI have never tried knitting or crocheting with beads, but would love to learn. You have lovely patterns--as I am getting more comfortable with lace knitting, they are very appealing. Looking forward to taking your class!
Yours,
Marla Eglowstein
I've knitted a bracelet with beads, and I really enjoyed it. I haven't done it since, however and would love to try this pattern!

I've got about 1/4 of the way through your Pattern "Kinetik" and I've also started the "Nouveau Beaded Cape", a kit I bought from Earthfaire (with beads). I'm going to take your newest class to perfect my new found skills before I continue on either of these and also to feed my addiction. I absolutely LOVED taking your Mastering Lace Shawls Craftsy course and I have YOU to blame for my obsession with lace knitting...thank you....
ReplyDeleteI am looking for a shawl lace pattern to work with beads. I did one last year and really liked doing it.I have the beads.
ReplyDeleteI have done a little beading in my knitting and seriously love the effect it gives! I'd love to try some of your patterns as they seem a bit more adventurous than the ones I've done. And that shawl is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI've had beads and matching yarn for over a year and I don't know what to do with them. This might be the golden ticket!
ReplyDeleteI made a lace scarf with bead incorporated into the end lace panels last summer as part of a class. It was a wonderful experience -- slow going at first, but things became easier as I went along. I've wanted to try it again, but finding the right pattern can be difficult.
ReplyDeleteI've never knit with beads but am eager to try - the finished results are so lovely! And I'm knitting a little summer cardi (Petal from the new Knitty) in a color pretty close to that green right now.
ReplyDeleteI got halfway through the first sock using Janel Laidman's Artichoke sock pattern. I'd have kept going, but I lost a needle... and I still haven't found it almost a year later (how do they just disappear?).
ReplyDeleteMy first beaded project your pattern - Undulating Wave Scarf. The scarf was a class project at my LYS Monarch Knitting in Pacific Grove, CA. The class made all the difference. I realized just how much I have yet to learn about knitting lace with beads. Craftsy is such a great resource and I love your patterns. Thanks for the opportunity to win such a great giveaway.

ReplyDeleteI've done one beaded project, a test knit for designer Jen Small, the Gossamer Fairy Cardigan: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/gossamer-fairy-cardigan. Lovely project, though perhaps not that practical for my 3yo, being silk laceweight with beads and all. I'd love to try my hand at beads in a shawl and am in love with Jill Draper's yarns!
ReplyDeleteYou have completed my conversion toLOVING beads. I had played a little before, but now I love using them!
ReplyDeleteI haven't knit with beads yet, but very soon! I bought your Ribband pattern today at Knitting Etc.! (What a wonderful shop! I was so excited to finally get to visit!)
ReplyDeleteI haven't knit with beads but I will someday!

I put off knitting with beads for a very long time, always believing it would be too fussy. Once I finally got around to incorporating beads into knitting, I was so smitten! And best of all, it really isn't fussy at all - quite easy in fact - plus the results are stunning ;)
ReplyDeleteI recently finished Lynette Meek's Dark of the Morning project and that involved over 2000 beads! I love everything about this new pattern, so count me in!
ReplyDeleteRavelry ID: pipnmilly
I bought a couple of your beaded bracelet kits from craftsy a while ago, and just finished knitting one up in march. I liked working with the beads- it was challenging in a good way, and I loved the effect and the finished product!
ReplyDeleteI am in the process of knitting a shawl and putting beads on it. I am adding the beads at the point where there is a yarn over in the pattern. It does slow the knitting down a bit as I have to slip a bead on the loop, but it is going to be fantastic.
ReplyDeletei have not yet knitted with beads and ty for this giveaway :O)
ReplyDeleteI started knitting a shawl pattern of yours and sadly it is still on the needles. I need a class to make the beads lie properly. I would love to win this giveaway to lean more about knitting with beads!

ReplyDeleteI have never knitted with beads but it is on my "to learn" list for this year!

I have never knitted with beads but I would sure love to learn how.
I hope you choose my name, I would love to win
I love lace beading. I have done it the "long pre-threaded bead" way, and the "pull the loop to knit through the bead" way. I prefer the latter, as it offers more freedom of beading, and not so "schleppy" :)
ReplyDeleteyes I have knitted with beads both added in with a crochet hook or threaded in advance in one of Laura's mystery KALs. Although I find using the crochet hook much easier, I love the effect of the beads floating on the yarn with pre-stringing
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun! I'd love to win!
ReplyDeleteI love knitting with beads. I love your use of two different sizes/colors of beads! The green yarn ins breathtaking as well!
ReplyDeletemade a scarf with beads once - loved it - want to do more

ReplyDeleteI have never used beads in my knitting. I guess i'm too afraid because i don't know how.

ReplyDeleteMy 2010 Advent scarf used beads. I was hooked but since then have only used beads in a couple pairs of socks. I did start the 2011 mystery shawl based on Around the World in 80 days. If used lace weight yarn and beads and it was looking lovely but then we moved, I got behind and never finished it... Sigh...
ReplyDeleteI have wanted to knit with beads but hav'nt yet some day when I have the right project this looks like it could be the one.
ReplyDeleteI have knitted and crocheted with beads and I love it! I would love to do more and this shawl is beautiful! Thanks for a very nice and educational giveaway.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful pattern. I would love to make this one!!
ReplyDeleteI have knitted and crocheted with beads and I love it! I would love to do more and this shawl is beautiful! Thanks for a very nice and educational giveaway.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I haven't knit with beads yet, but I want to try!
ReplyDeleteI knit an angora hat and beaded a moebius trim once
ReplyDeleteI've knit several things with beads, mostly scarves or shawls. I love the finished look! Just enough bling to be beautiful without being overwhelmed!
ReplyDeleteI have not Knit with beads. But it would be a great skill to learn!
ReplyDeleteI never knit with beads; however, I make jewelry so it would be a good combination of my skills. i should try it!
ReplyDeleteI have never tried knitting with beads but would love to learn! This shawl is really gorgeous and would love the chance to win the yarn and the class!
ReplyDeleteOh my, how gorgeous! I love the variegated one especially. I've never knit before with beads, but I'm willing to try!!
ReplyDeleteI knitted a shawl with beads in it to give it a sparkle and gave it to my grandma, who taught me knit and crochet when I was a little girl!! I crocheted few doilies with beads in it for friends and a big Christmas one for my mom ( almost 5 feet across). Love using beads. It's not as hard as it seems too!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI've never knit with beads, but I'm looking forward to the class. I love the shawl, and I love the yarn.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Scarves and shawls are some of my favorite knitting projects. I've knitted with beads before and have enjoyed it. Love using the crochet hook method over stringing the beads before hand.
ReplyDeleteI've made several pouch type necklaces incorporating beads. These were knit on a 0000 needle. Fun to do. I've also knit slight bigger pouches using leftover sock weight yarn with a beaded edging on the top. I have a lace shawl on my "bucket list" of knitting projects. Thanks for this super opportunity to win.
ReplyDeleteI have't incorporated beads into my knitting yet. But.... I have an awesome bead stash from my jewelry making days and would love to learn how to use them in my shawls and socks.
ReplyDeleteA friend has gotten me started on beading with my knits. I've only done it a couple of times but I was very proud of my Summer Flies shawl that I added beads to. I think my addiction is starting to be all encompassing. ;)
ReplyDeleteI've never knit with beads before, but I work at a craft store with a HUGE jewelry section, so I think it's time I gave it a try. I've done a fair amount of lace and consider myself a seasoned knitter, so it's clearly time to take the plunge and get really crazy with something new!
ReplyDeleteI have only done one item and struggled a bit with it, but want to do more. Love this shawl.
ReplyDeleteWell, I have to admit, I haven't knitted with beads, but I have crocheted with beads and made some wonderful jewelry that way (the beaded Turkish bracelets on Ravelry). http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/beaded-turkish-bracelets
ReplyDeleteI've done a couple of shawls but never knit with beads-yet! Their on my next hat knitting project that is waiting to be started. The shawl looks awesome though :)
ReplyDeleteI have been practicing my knitting skills and just bought myself my first set of interchangable knitting needles. I love to make projects - mostly blankets for donation. I have set two resolutions for this year - knit a pair of socks and knit with beads. Fingers crossed.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful yarn and project. I have not added beads to any of my knitting projects in the past, but would love to try a shawl with beads. This would be the perfect combination! I would love to win this. MuttiRuth on Ravelry
ReplyDeleteI have worked with beads before. I really enjoy knitting with them
ReplyDeleteAlthough I have been knitting for most of my life (at least 35 years), I have never used beads. So it's about time. I've signed up for the class and just need to decide what color I'd like my shawl to be.
ReplyDeleteYour shawl is stunning! I have never knit with beads but would love to try!
ReplyDeleteI have not knit with beads yet. I bought kit at a yarn store to make a beaded scarf but found that this self taught knitter needs instruction. So it is on the back burner for the moment! I would love to win to learn the skills needed for both projects!
ReplyDeleteI have done a few shawls with beads. My favourite bead project was the one I made up as I went. My friend requested a Haruni shawl for her wedding and to make it even more special I decided I would add beads to it. As i knit the shawl I added beads where I hoped they would look the best. I am very proud of how it turned out and the bride was thrilled with it. It can be seen on Ravelry under natbug
ReplyDeleteI added some beads to a yarn that I spun. The yarn was beautiful but the beads didn't show up very much in the finished scarf. Next time I'll use larger beads and/or add them in during the knitting process (probably both). I love knitting projects with beads. Now just as soon as I finish the sweater I'm working on. Well, maybe I set it aside for a bit and play with yarn and beads...
ReplyDeleteLove your shawl and am signing up for the class! Would love to have the chance to work with such beautiful yarn!
ReplyDeleteI've done several of your jewelry patterns and loved it. The only thing holding me back from a bigger project is stringing all the beads!
ReplyDeletelove that shawl ..i have never knitted with beads before but would love to learn ...i have never used this wool before either would appreciate the opportunity to try it
ReplyDeleteI have knitted with beads and incorporated them into the ends of scarfs. It was years ago and it didn't turn out like I had envisioned. I would love to make this shawl. I've not made one of those yet. They seem intimidating. Your work is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLast year was my first year to knit lace. Now I'm ready to add beads. Bring it on!
ReplyDeleteI've never knit anything with beads, but from the looks of these two shawls, it's definitely something I shall aspire to. Absolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI have knitted with beads, just the Butin kit. I love it! I found it mystifying, how it all went together. So I would love the class to learn how (really how) to knit with beads and start incorporating them into my other projects. PLUS that shawl is to die for. What a gorgeous way to learn!
